Booster Shots in Phnom Penh to Start from Monday

Phnom Penh: The Phnom Penh Capital Administration will start providing the Covid-19 booster shots for the general public from Monday, 11 October. It will be given to people living in 11 districts except for Daun Penh, Chroy Changva and Prek Pnov. The booster vaccination for these three districts will kick-off on 30 October.

Phnom Penh Capital Administration has announced that the booster shots are being provided to increase immunity against the spread of Covid-19. Minister of the National Defence, Tea Banh, will lead the opening ceremony on Monday.

Phnom Penh residents, both foreign and local are advised to present their vaccination cards upon going to the sites. Foreign nationals are required to bring their passports. As of 8 October, Cambodia has vaccinated more than 13.5 million people, including nearly 1 million people who received the third dose.
