CPP Voices Out Support to PM, Rejects Report on Holding Cypriot Passport

Phnom Penh: The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party has made statement rejecting the information the Prime Minuster has bought foreign citizenship and passport from Cyprus. 

The statement stresses, "Cambodia's Prime Minister is the core of the Cambodian People's Party and the outstanding leader of the people who has led the country with wisdom, intelligence and ability to achieve success. The brightest for the motherland and the people of Cambodia."

It jas added, "We solemnly support the amendment of the Constitution related to the determination of the sole Khmer nationality for the national leaders who hold the position of President of the Senate, President of the National Assembly, Prime Minister and President of the Constitutional Council."

Lastly, they call on the members of the Cambodian People's Party, civil servants, the armed forces and the whole nation to unite as a whole around the leadership of Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Cambodian People's Party and the Director of Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia to protect independence, sovereignty, peace, stability, democracy and development in Cambodia.
