Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection Expresses Support to PM

Phnom Penh: Minister of National Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection, Men Sam An and all levels of civil servants have announced their support for the high-level initiative of the Prime Minister.

The Ministry released a statement saying, "The deep patriotic ideals of the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, in amending the Constitution and related laws to determine that the President of the Senate, the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister and the President of the Constitutional Council of the Kingdom of Cambodia must be dignitaries. There is only one Khmer nationality."

 It has added that this noble initiative is a guarantee, both legal and political, for the senior dignitaries who hold the leadership positions of the four top institutions of the nation enshrined in the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

"The nation and the motherland of Cambodia, to lead the country by putting the national interest as a whole, as well as to resist outside interference in the internal affairs of the national leadership of Cambodia."
