Government Launches New App for Digital Library

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications has launched a new mobile app to enable easy access to its digital library to contribute to studies and research by educators, students as well as the general public. The launch of the app has been announced by means of an official notification.

Called the “D-Library”, the app will serve as a bridge for online access to a wide range of information and documents related to science, technology, economics, agriculture, history, geography, legislation, as well as culture and the arts. The app is already available for download at App Store, Play Store or through QR code scanning.

In announcing the app, the ministry has encouraged other ministries and government institutions, as well as libraries, museums and both public and private publishers and knowledge agencies to share useful information that can be stored in the digital library.
