Southeast Asian Sailing Championship has Dates Announced

Sihanoukville: The Southeast Asian Sailing Championship will be held in Preah Sihanouk from December 12 to 17 with 200 athletes from seven countries participating. Prime Minister Hun Sen already agreed in August to the request of CAMSOC to organize the international sailing competition. Now, an official date has been given.

Secretary General of the Cambodian SEA Games Organizing Committee, Vath Chamroeun, has announced the international competition will be composed of 12 different stages organized by the Cambodia Sailing Federation in cooperation with the Singapore Sailing Federation.

Minister of Tourism and Permanent Vice President of CAMSOC, Thong Khon, is positive that the competition will not only promote collaboration on sailing sports between Cambodia and Singapore, but also help Cambodia get prepared for the sport at the SEA Games in 2023, which the kingdom will host.
