Princess Norodom Marie Denies Keeping the FUNCINPEC Seal

Phnom Penh: Princess Norodom Marie has called on those who keep using her name in connection with FUNCINPEC issues to stop as she denies holding their seal.

On Monday, Samdech Rasmi Sobbhana Women's Foundation, representing Princess Marie has released a statement stating that FUNCINPEC's current activities do not involve the Princess. It says the Princess is currently in France attending to personal affairs.

A number of FUNCINPEC party leaders held a press conference last Wednesday accusing Princess Norodom Marie of using the party's seal to make decisions and appoint people without consulting a deputy including the four party presidents.
