Horrific Double Murder in Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh: Police in Phnom Penh are investigating a horrific double murder in the capital’s Boeung Trabek commune. At about 8am on Friday morning, a married couple were attacked in their apartment on Street 103. It’s believed the assailant was the wife’s brother.

Initial investigations suggest the couple were attacked with a pair of scissors, with their home left covered in blood. After the double murder, the attacker apparently jumped from the apartment. He sustained serious head injuries and died later in hospital.

Initial reports suggest the three were all Filipino nationals, although this has not been confirmed by police who continue to investigate the case.
