Cambodia to Strengthen Cooperation with Euro-Asian Economic Commission

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Commerce will organize the third meeting of the Joint Working Group on Cooperation between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Euro-Asian Economic Commission on 7-8 September. The conference which will be held virtually is aimed to further further strengthen friendship and enhance better bilateral cooperation between the two sides.

The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce and Chair of the Joint Working Group for the Cambodian side, Tek Reth will chair the event and co-chaired by Member of the Board of Ministers in charge of CSU Integration and Macroeconomics, Sergey Glaziev. According to the Ministry, this will be an avenue to to review and monitor the progress of cooperation, agreements and memoranda of understanding reached between the two sides, as well as to explore potential opportunities for further promotion and strengthening of new cooperation more between the two parties.

Some of the key topics that will be discussed are Science, technology and innovation, trade and investment cooperation, telecommunications, digital development and information technology, industry, energy and infrastructure, and intellectual property, consumer protection and competition.
