PM Hun Manet Pays Homage to King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace

Phnom Penh, August 18, 2025 — In a ceremony held on Monday morning at the Royal Palace, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, accompanied by a delegation from the Royal Government of Cambodia, paid homage to His Majesty King Norodom Sihamoni. 

The delegation included high-ranking officials such as Mr. Aun Pornmoniroth, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance; Mr. Prak Sokhon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Mr. Sar Sokha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Mr. Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense; Ms. Phoeun Sakona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts; and Mr. Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training. 

Their visit underscored the government’s respect and appreciation for the King’s leadership and the pivotal role he plays in national unity and stability. The Prime Minister reiterated his commitment to building on the achievements of the 7th Royal Government, which has made significant strides in developing key sectors, including the economy, social infrastructure, and other vital areas.

The homage at the Royal Palace highlighted the exceptional progress Cambodia has made under the current administration, emphasizing ongoing efforts to enhance national development.
