General Tea Seiha Departs for Kuala Lumpur to Attend Extraordinary Cambodia–Thailand Border Committee Meeting

Phnom Penh, Monday, August 4, 2025: His Excellency General Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, departed Phnom Penh today, leading a senior delegation of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to attend the upcoming Extraordinary Meeting of the Cambodia–Thailand General Border Committee (GBC).

The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday, August 7, 2025, and will bring together senior military officials from both Cambodia and Thailand. Observers from Malaysia, the United States, and the People’s Republic of China are also expected to attend, reflecting broader regional and international interest in promoting peace and stability along the Cambodia–Thailand border.

The Cambodian delegation’s participation reaffirms the country’s commitment to peaceful dialogue and regional cooperation through established bilateral mechanisms.
