Breaking News: Cambodia Reports Two New COVID-19 Cases and One Recovery on August 6, 2025

Phnom Penh, August 6, 2025 —The Ministry of Health of Cambodia announced on August 6, 2025, the detection of two new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country’s total to 139,640 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic. Additionally, one individual has recovered, increasing the total recoveries to 136,579. No new deaths were reported, and the national death toll remains at 3,056.

The Ministry emphasized ongoing efforts in monitoring and controlling the virus, reaffirming Cambodia’s commitment to public health and safety amid the global pandemic. Authorities continue to urge the public to adhere to health protocols and remain vigilant to prevent further spread of the virus.
