Malaysia to Facilitate Cambodia–Thailand Border Meeting from August 4–7

Kuala Lumpur – The Malaysian Armed Forces announced on August 2 that it will facilitate the upcoming General Boundary Committee (GBC) meeting between Cambodia and Thailand, scheduled to take place from August 4 to 7 in Kuala Lumpur.

In a statement, the Department of Defense Intelligence and Strategic Communications said the meeting aims to address the ongoing border dispute between the two countries, in line with the ceasefire agreement brokered by Malaysia on July 28.
