BREAKING NEWS: Prime Minister Hun Manet to Lead Cambodian Delegation to Kuala Lumpur for Special Meeting on Ceasefire

Phnom Penh-27 July 2025— Prime Minister Hun Manet announced that he will lead the Cambodian delegation to participate in a high-level diplomatic meeting scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting is co-organized by Malaysia and the United States, with China also participating.

The primary objective of this gathering is to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the region. The initiative to convene this special meeting originated from U.S. President Donald Trump and has received support and agreement from the Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Acting Prime Ministers of Thailand.

Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed his gratitude to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for his leadership and efforts in arranging and hosting this significant diplomatic event. 

Further details regarding the agenda and participants of the meeting are expected to be announced soon. The outcome of this diplomatic effort could play a crucial role in promoting ceasefire and fostering regional cooperation among key international and regional actors.
