Cambodia’s 2025 Charity Wedding Expo Set to Support Underprivileged Couples and Promote Khmer Culture
Phnom Penh, July 14, 2025— Cambodia’s largest wedding expo of 2025 is scheduled to take place over three days at The Premier Center Sen Sok, Phnom Penh, from July 18 to July 20. The event aims to showcase a comprehensive range of wedding services, while also supporting five underprivileged couples across the nation.
The 2025 Cambodian Wedding Fair will bring together leading providers from various sectors, including wedding planning, catering, decorations, photography, jewelry, entertainment, and beverages. This exhibition presents an opportunity for newlyweds and those planning their marriages to explore diverse products and services under one roof, streamlining their preparations.
The grand opening will be attended by Her Excellency Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, Permanent Vice President of the Cambodian Red Cross, and other distinguished guests, reflecting the national significance of the event.
Representing Creative Living, Inc., Oknha Seng Nhak’s CEO’s business development manager, Mr. Mean Sam Ol, presided over a recent press conference, emphasizing the event’s objectives and community impact. Notable corporate sponsors include Vattanac Brewery, Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, Geely, Khmer Style Apsara Wedding Accessories, Aion Cambodia, and Kid Paradise.
Mr. Sam Ol highlighted that the expo’s primary goal is to streamline wedding preparations by consolidating services and information, making it easier for couples to make informed decisions. Additionally, the event aims to promote Cambodia’s rich wedding traditions, emphasizing traditional attire and cultural practices aligned with historical authenticity.
“Through this exhibition, we seek to support local wedding businesses, foster collaborations, and give couples access to quality services,” Mr. Sam Ol stated. “It’s also an opportunity to showcase and preserve our Khmer cultural heritage for both local and international visitors.”
A key feature of the event is its charitable component. On the morning of July 18, the organizers will host a wedding ceremony for five underprivileged couples who lack the resources to organize their own weddings. This initiative is supported by sponsors including The Premier Center Sen Sok, The Premier Palace Chinese Restaurant, Apsara Khmer Style Wedding Decoration, and several local vendors.
“We hope this event will inspire community participation and raise awareness of Khmer traditions,” added Mr. Sam Ol. “We invite media partners and the public to join us in celebrating this joyful and meaningful occasion.”
Reflecting on the success of the inaugural event in 2024, which attracted over 6,000 visitors and featured 69 partner companies, organizers expect this year’s expo to surpass previous achievements. The 2024 event also generated significant sales and reservations for participating vendors.
In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature a large-scale concert with performances by prominent Cambodian artists, including Mr. Chi David, Mr. Lim Tech Meng, and Mr. Tep Piseth. There will also be a Kid Playground spanning nearly 1,000 square meters for children, numerous food vendors, and various cultural and educational panel discussions covering wedding history, traditions, planning, and economic aspects of the wedding industry.
The organizers invite the public and media practitioners to participate actively in this historic event, which serves not only as a marketplace but also as a celebration of Cambodia’s cultural identity and community spirit.
