Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training Issues Notice on Labor Dispute Resolution

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training issued a notice on Wednesday, January 22, outlining the procedures for handling labor dispute cases in accordance with the Labor Law. Following a complaint about a labor dispute, the Ministry's conciliator initiated the mediation process in line with relevant legal protocols.

To facilitate effective and participatory resolution of labor disputes, the Ministry has informed the parties involved in the following cases that they must engage in the mediation and settlement process by February 14, 2025:

1. Zhong Yin (Cambodia) B Textile Co., Ltd.

2. Evergreen Industrial Co., Ltd.

3. H C C Group Co., Ltd.

4. A Z I E&C COMPANY LIMITED

5. Saehan Furniture & Interior Co., Ltd.

If the parties involved fail to comply with these requirements, the Labor Inspector will take appropriate measures regarding the labor disputes and may prepare the cases for referral to the competent court as per applicable legal procedures.

The Ministry emphasizes that all parties involved in the disputes, including owners, directors, workers, employees, and their representatives, must approach the resolution process with a sense of responsibility. Delaying the resolution of these disputes could negatively impact professional relationships and harmony in the workplace.
