More Than 410,000 Vehicles Registered in 2024

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport reported that a total of 413,067 vehicles were registered in 2024 (January to December), including 353,603 motorcycles, 54,692 light vehicles, and 5,841 heavy vehicles, according to spokesperson Phon Rim.

The report indicates that motorcycle and light vehicle registrations peaked in September, while heavy vehicle registrations were highest in January.

In comparison to the same period in 2023, registrations for motorcycles and light vehicles increased, whereas heavy vehicle registrations saw a decline of 14%.
