Kampong Speu Province – More than 60 passengers, including students and teachers, were injured when a bus skidded off the road and nearly plunged into a ravine on Mount Kirirom on the afternoon of December 29, 2024.

Lieutenant Colonel Jun Chandet, Phnom Sruoch District Police Chief, stated that the bus lost control near Yay Bang Dai, beyond the Orak Ses Waterfall in Chambok commune. The vehicle veered off the road while descending the mountainous terrain of Preah Kosoma Kirirom National Park and struck a tree, which prevented it from falling further into the ravine.
