King Norodom Sihamoni Returns to Cambodia After Successful Royal Visit to Hainan Province

Phnom Penh – His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, returned to Phnom Penh on the afternoon of December 21, 2024, after concluding a successful three-day royal visit to Hainan Province, China, from December 19 to 21.

Upon his arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, His Majesty was greeted by high-ranking officials, including Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate; Samdech Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly; and Samdech Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia. Also present were members of the Supreme Council of the King, representatives from the Senate, National Assembly, and Royal Government, the Royal Family, and the Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia, Wang Wenbin.

The royal visit, aimed at strengthening the deep-rooted ties between Cambodia and China, underscored the enduring friendship between the two nations. It also served to advance cooperation and enhance the comprehensive strategic partnership that has been a cornerstone of their bilateral relations.
