Cambodia’s Highest Bridge Set for Trial Use Before Khmer New Year

Phnom Penh, November 21, 2024 — Phon Rim, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, announced that Bridge No. 28, part of the National Road No. 10 construction project, is set to be put into trial use by the end of March 2025, just before the Khmer New Year celebrations. This bridge, standing at a height of 90 meters and spanning 537 meters in length, will be the tallest bridge in Cambodia.

In his Facebook statement,  Rim highlighted the stunning views that the bridge will offer. From its apex, visitors will be treated to panoramic sights of eel trails, verdant forests throughout the seasons, misty clouds, and the picturesque landscapes of the Stung Damnak Kbon River, Stung Russey Chrum Valley, Veal Veng, and O Som areas.
