Siem Reap, Cambodia – Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, held a get-together with the Kampong Phluk Ecotourism Community to assess its potential as a significant eco-tourism destination. The minister inspected the local infrastructure supporting tourism activities and evaluated the surrounding environment during the visit.
The meeting included discussions with the community president, the commune chief, and local residents, primarily women from the boat-dwelling population. The focus was on understanding the challenges they face and gathering suggestions to enhance the area’s appeal to both national and international tourists.
