Mr HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, allowed the Cambodia Association of Tourism (CATA), representing 400 companies, to meet for a work discussion.

PHNOM PENH: On the afternoon of Saturday, September 21, 2024, Mr. HUOT Hak, Minister of Tourism, allowed the Cambodia Association of Tourism (CATA), led by Oknha CHHAY Sivlin, President of the Association, along with its members, to meet for a work discussion and report on the challenges, and requests in order to attract more tourists to Cambodia, especially on cultural and natural tourism since the Kingdom of Cambodia is of abundant cultural, historical, and natural resources.

In response, Mr. the Minister extended his appreciation the association’s efforts, initiatives, commitment, and contributions to promoting the tourism sector. He hopes that the association would continue to support and further develop Cambodia's tourism industry. Additionally, Mr. the Minister emphasized that all concerns, challenges, and requests raised during the discussion would be further reviewed within the ministry, inter-ministries, and with the tourism working group in the government-private sector forum, to provide effective, efficient, and timely responses.
