Phnom Penh: The Ministry of Health has announced a ban on the distribution, sale, and consumption of Royal Health Wine EST: 2005 (500ml and 100ml) and CHL Natural Health Wine (150ml), produced by Thean Chow Chieu Yuek Import Export Co., Ltd. located in Chob Village, Kandeang Reay Commune, Svay Teap District, Svay Rieng Province. These products were found to contain SILDENAFIL, posing a potential danger to consumers.

Following quality analysis at the National Center for Health Experiments, the Ministry took swift action, effective Wednesday, July 24. The Ministry's research, in collaboration with relevant units and authorities, led to regulations being imposed on two locations: the production site of Thean Chiao Chieu Yeak Import Export Co., Ltd. in Svay Rieng Province, and a liquor store in Phnom Penh. Legal action is being pursued against those involved.

To mitigate health risks, the Ministry of Health urges residents not to consume these three types of alcohol and advises traders to cease distribution and sales immediately. The Ministry also calls on authorities across the capitals and provinces to educate the public and enforce the ban rigorously, ensuring strict adherence to legal procedures.
