Breaking News: Helicopter Missing in Cardamom Mountains During Training Exercise

Phnom Penh: The Ministry of National Defense has announced that a helicopter lost contact with Air Force headquarters while conducting a training exercise in the Cardamom Mountains, covering the Pursat and Koh Kong provinces. The incident occurred due to severe weather conditions.

Search and rescue operations have been underway since the morning of July 13, 2024. However, as of now, there has been no success in locating the helicopter or its crew. The Ministry has assured the public that the search will continue with utmost diligence.
