The two newly established companies in Svay Rieng Province request registration for the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP).

Svay Rieng: On Friday, 12 July 2024, Ministry of Commerce officials, led by His Excellency KHEM Phally, Chief Representative of the Ministry of Commerce for the Manhattan Special Economic Zone, inspected the two newly established companies located in the Manhattan Special Economic Zone, Svay Rieng Province, which companies have requested registration for the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) to meet the requirements for GSP registration at the Ministry.

The two companies are: 1. Airui Brake Systems (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., which has registered one hundred percent capital of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to establish a factory that produces and assembles all types of brakes, with company has a registered capital of 5 million USD. 2. Central Tree (Cambodia) Lighting Technology Co., Ltd., which produces Christmas trees, decorative lighting equipment, and souvenirs with company has a capital of 2 million USD.

The initial export destinations of the companies include the United States of America and Canada.
