MISTI, MPTC Sign MoU to Enhance Digital Security and Convenience

PHNOM PENH: The Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) and the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications (MPTC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July 8, 2024 in an effort to enhance Cambodia's digital security and convenience.

Under this agreement, MPTC will support MISTI with the use of the verify.gov.kh, develop internet infrastructure and connectivity, and provide digital skills training in line with the Digital Government Policy 2022-2035.

The verification process through verify.gov.kh will integrate standard QR Code documents across the fields of industry, science, technology, and innovation. This initiative aims to eliminate document falsification and foster the platform development and digital government products.
