POONGLIM Pharmatech Inc. Explores Investment in Medical Device Manufacturing in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, June 26, 2024 – POONGLIM Pharmatech Inc. from the Republic of Korea is exploring investment opportunities in medical device manufacturing in Cambodia, aiming to enhance the effectiveness of the nation's health services.

The company's intentions were disclosed during a visit by CEO Hee-min Cho to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC). He was welcomed by Suon Sophal, Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board, at CDC headquarters in Phnom Penh on June 25.

Hee-min Cho stated that his company's investment would focus on providing high-quality, safe, and efficient healthcare services to the Cambodian populace.

Suon Sophal outlined Cambodia’s favorable investment environment, highlighting the investment law and regulations that facilitate investment, incentives, and maintenance.
