Deputy PM Hun Many Embarks on Official Visit to South Korea

Phnom Penh, June 24, 2024: Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Service, is leading a high-level delegation on an official visit to the Republic of Korea starting June 23, 2024.

During this visit, the Deputy Prime Minister will participate in the Public Forum and the United Nations Awards Ceremony. He will engage in various presentations and workshops focusing on public administration reform under the theme "Fostering Innovation amid Global Challenges: a Public Sector Perspective."

Additionally, Deputy PM Hun Many will join a Ministerial Roundtable comprising ten other ministers. His itinerary includes bilateral meetings with the Minister of Personnel Management of South Korea and officials from other countries in attendance.

This visit comes at the invitation of LI Junhua, UN Under-Secretary-General, to attend the UN Public Service Forum and the UN Public Service Awards Ceremony. The events are scheduled for June 24-26, 2024, in Incheon, Republic of Korea. They are jointly organized by The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) and the Government of the Republic of Korea, aiming to discuss the promotion of innovation and transformation in the public sector to enhance current and future administrative capacities.
