First Lady Dr. Pich Chanmony Leads Yoga and Meditation Session at Angkor Wat

PHNOM PENH, June 3, 2024 – On the serene morning of June 2, 2024, Angkor Wat served as the backdrop for a unique yoga and meditation event organized by the Kantha Bopha Foundation of Cambodia. The session was led by Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, President of the Foundation, and was attended by approximately 100 members.

Dr. Chanmony expressed her delight in hosting the Foundation's first-ever yoga and meditation event at such a culturally significant site. She highlighted that the gathering aimed to foster happiness and peace, while also supporting a humanitarian effort to raise funds for Cambodian children under the care of the Kantha Bopha Foundation. The event focused on promoting mental and physical health and emphasized the importance of peace and communal support.

Additionally, Dr. Chanmony extended her gratitude to the Kantha Bopha Foundation for arranging the event and to all the donors who have supported the operations of the Kantha Bopha Hospital. She praised the spirit of community and solidarity, encapsulated in the motto "Khmer help Khmer," which contributes to the wellbeing and future prospects of the nation’s children.
