NEC to Review Provisional Election Results

Phnom Penh, May 28, 2024 – The National Election Committee (NEC) has announced that it will review and verify the provisional results of the 2024 4th Mandate Council Election. This process ensures adherence to the election's rules and procedures.

The results under review include those for the Capital Council, Provincial Council, Municipal Council, District Council, and Khan Council, collectively known as the "Council" for the fourth term, 2024. These results were submitted by the Capital and Provincial Election Commissions.

The review and verification are scheduled for May 30, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the NEC Office on National Assembly Street, Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh.

The NEC extends an invitation to national and international journalists to cover this important event, underscoring the transparency of the electoral process.
