Strengthening friendship and cooperation between Cambodia and Russia

His Excellency MEAS Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, attended the Reception hosted by His Excellency Anatoly Borovik, Ambassador of the Russian Federation, on 16 May 2024, at his Residence, to commemorate the 68th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation.

His Excellency Secretary of State extended his sincere congratulations and best wishes for peace, happiness and prosperity to the Government and the people of the Russian Federation. He further pointed out the importance of friendship and cooperation between the two countries that have been built for almost seven decades.

His Excellency Secretary of State also emphasized that the existing mechanisms such as the Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation and the Bilateral Consultations are ideal platforms for both countries to reinvigorate the momentum of bilateral cooperation and partnership to a new height.
