National Committee Warns Against Fake Accounts Misusing Prime Minister Hun Sen's Image

PHNOM PENH, April 13, 2024: The National Committee for Coordinating Information and Public Affairs issued a warning this morning, May 13, 2024, about ongoing fraudulent activities involving fake accounts using the image of Prime Minister Hun Sen to deceive the public.

The Committee alerted the public to be vigilant against scammers who often create counterfeit accounts and pages, leveraging the names and images of high-profile leaders to send messages or conduct scams. It urged immediate suspension of any fake accounts and pages impersonating leaders.
