Seabourn Sojourn Cruise Ship Makes Port Call in Preah Sihanouk

PHNOM PENH, April 26, 2024 — The Seabourn Sojourn, a cruise ship registered under the Bahamian flag, arrived at the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port in Preah Sihanouk province today for a day-long stopover.

According to local immigration officials, the ship is carrying 360 passengers from 27 different nationalities, along with 353 crew members hailing from 40 nationalities. The majority of the passengers are American, with 188 individuals noted.

During their stay, the visitors are exploring various attractions within the coastal province of Preah Sihanouk, including cultural resorts and beaches. A number of tourists have also traveled to Siem Reap province to visit the renowned Angkor temples.

The Seabourn Sojourn, which measures nearly 200 meters in length, 26 meters in width, and has a depth of 6.7 meters, arrived from Vietnam and is scheduled to depart for Thailand this evening.

Since the start of the year, the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port has seen an increasing number of cruise ships, bringing thousands of international tourists and crew members to Cambodia. Tourism continues to be a vital sector for Cambodia's macroeconomic growth and social development and is projected to become a major component of the country's GDP in the near future.
