This visit comes at the invitation of King Norodom Sihamoni and signifies a continuing effort to strengthen bilateral ties between the two nations.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation announced that during his stay, President Sisoulith will be honored with a royal audience by King Norodom Sihamoni at the Royal Palace.
