King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia to Embark on Diplomatic Visit to Japan

Phnom Penh, April 4, 2024: In a significant diplomatic engagement, King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia is slated to visit Japan this weekend. This development was disclosed through a royal announcement received by AKP this afternoon.

Scheduled to depart for Japan on April 5, 2024, the visit by the Cambodian monarch is anticipated to bolster the longstanding relations between Cambodia and Japan. In the absence of King Norodom Sihamoni, Hun Sen, President of the Senate, will fulfill the duties of the Acting Head of State.
