Hun Many Leads Opening Ceremony for Review of 2023 Achievements and 2024 Goals at Ministry of Public Function

Phnom Penh, April 3, 2024 – This morning, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Works, Hun Many, spearheaded a comprehensive meeting at the Ministry of Public Function. The assembly drew civil servants from the Ministry, alongside esteemed representatives from ministries, institutions, and units nationwide, to deliberate on the accomplishments of 2023 and chart the course for 2024.

The gathering marked a pivotal juncture for stakeholders within the Ministry of Public Function and allied Ministries, Institutions, and Sub-National Administration to reflect on the previous year's efforts, confront challenges, and brainstorm innovative solutions. These discussions are aimed at steering future endeavors within the realms of public service management and administrative enhancement.

Hun Many extended heartfelt thanks to the leaders and officials at all levels of the Ministry of Public Function for their diligent work and dedication towards achieving significant progress in public service and administrative reform for the Royal Government. He also acknowledged the invaluable cooperation from Ministries, Administrative Institutions, and all levels of local government, as well as development partners, in fostering the evolution of public functions and administrative reform, in line with the Royal Government's policies and strategies.

Looking forward, Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Service, encouraged all attendees to fully engage with the meeting's agenda. He emphasized the importance of directly tackling challenges, as well as discussing and sharing insights on predetermined topics. These conversations are expected to lay the groundwork for strategic development and action planning for the forthcoming year, ensuring continued progress in the public sector.
