Cambodia's CPP Leader Celebrates Putin's Re-election as Russian President

Phnom Penh, March 20, 2024 – The leader of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), Hun Sen, has warmly congratulated Vladimir Putin on securing a fifth term as the President of the Russian Federation.

In a message of felicitation dated March 19, Hun Sen expressed his sincere joy over Putin's re-election. "I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of your re-election as President of the Russian Federation for a fifth term," he stated.

Hun Sen highlighted the longstanding and cherished relationship between Cambodia and Russia, built on mutual respect, shared values, and common interests.
