PM Directs Ministry of Health to Establish Round-the-Clock Health Centers Nationwide

*Kandal, March 13, 2024* – Prime Minister of Cambodia, Samdech Thev Tey Hun Manet, has issued a directive to the Ministry of Health to establish health centers operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, across the country.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital in Koh Thom District, Kandal Province, on the morning of March 13, 2024, Prime Minister Samdech outlined his plan to ensure access to healthcare round-the-clock. He emphasized the need to recruit additional doctors to support this initiative.

"Samdech will devise policies to recruit more doctors to ensure the continuous operation of all health centers," stated the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Health to ensure the availability of essential materials and medications at all health centers nationwide.

This directive comes as part of the government's efforts to enhance healthcare accessibility and ensure that citizens have access to medical assistance whenever needed.
