"Minister of Health Oversees Readiness of Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital's Medical Facilities"

Kandal, March 11, 2024: Mr. Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, spearheaded a delegation from the Ministry of Health to scrutinize the installation of medical equipment and infrastructure at Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital, in anticipation of its forthcoming inauguration.

The inspection, led by Mr. Chheang Ra, took place on March 11, 2024, ahead of the official opening ceremony scheduled for March 13, 2024, under the esteemed patronage of Prime Minister Samdech Moha Boravati Hun Manet and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pech Chanmony Hun Manet.

Situated in Koh Thom District, Kandal Province, Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital commenced construction since January 7, 2022, spearheaded by Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol and supported by Mr. Chheang Ra, alongside local and international benefactors. Collaborating closely with Calmette Hospital, it aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services for the populace.

The hospital boasts three new buildings spanning a total area of 12,544.4 square meters, with a capacity to accommodate 150 beds. Equipped with state-of-the-art amenities including air conditioning, modern technology, a Hospital Information System (HIS), and advanced medical apparatus, it is poised to deliver top-notch healthcare.

Techo Sen Koh Thom Hospital is primed to fulfill a vital role in addressing the healthcare needs of residents in Koh Thom, Saang, Leuk Dek, and Prey Kabbas districts of Takeo Province, offering accessible medical treatment and diagnostic services.
