Water Wells Foundation: A Charity that Provides Clean Water to Millions of Cambodians, Led by Her Excellency, Dy Sokhey Tykhear Yukor

Water is essential for life, but not everyone has access to clean and safe water. Millions of people in Cambodia, especially in rural areas, face water scarcity and contamination, which affect their health, livelihood, and education. To address this urgent issue, one woman has dedicated her life to bringing water to the people who need it most. She is Her Excellency, Dy Sokhey Tykhear Yukor, the president of the Water Wells Foundation. Her Excellency, Dy Sokhey Tykhear Yukor recently took over this position from Her Excellency Pich Chanmony, the First Lady of Cambodia.

The Water Wells Foundation is a charitable organization that was founded by Neak Oknha Moha Pheakdey Saburisak Phoukea Thipadei Hun Neang and Moha Obaseka Dy Pok, the parents of Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the Prime Minister of Cambodia, and Neak Okhna Brithmohaubaseka Dhammanheanvivaddhana Bun Seangly and Obasak Lin Kri, the parents of Samdech Kittipritbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen. The foundation aims to provide clean water to the Cambodian people by building wells in areas where water is scarce or polluted.

Since 2013, the Water Wells Foundation has built over 1,000 wells across the country, benefiting more than 500,000 people. The foundation also provides water filters, pumps, tanks, and pipes to ensure the quality and sustainability of the water supply. The foundation works closely with local authorities, communities, and beneficiaries to ensure the proper management and maintenance of the wells.

As the president of the Water Wells Foundation, Her Excellency, Dy Sokhey Tykhear Yukor, oversees the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the foundation’s projects. Her Excellency, Dy Sokhey Tykhear Yukor also leads the fundraising, communication, and partnership efforts of the foundation. Her Excellency, Dy Sokhey Tykhear Yukor is the wife of His Excellency, Hun Manit, the eldest son of Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kittipritbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, and a member of the National Assembly of Cambodia.

Her Excellency, Dy Sokhey Tykhear Yukor, is not only a leader, but also a role model and a hero. She is passionate about water and humanity, and she inspires others to join her in her noble cause. She is motivated by the vision of a Cambodia where everyone has access to clean and safe water, and where water is a source of life, not a cause of death. She is guided by the values of compassion, generosity, and responsibility, and she follows the footsteps of her idols, Samdech Techo Hun Sen and Samdech Kittipritbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, who have devoted their lives to serving the nation and the people.

Her Excellency, Dy Sokhey Tykhear Yukor, invites everyone to support her charity work and the Water Wells Foundation. She believes that together, we can make a difference and improve the lives of millions of Cambodians. She says, “Water is a gift from nature, but it is also a gift from us to our fellow human beings. By giving water, we are giving life, health, happiness, and hope. Let us join hands and hearts to bring water to the people who need it most.”
