Cambodian Red Cross Donates 20 Tons of Rice to Pailin

Pailin: Cambodian Red Cross President Bun Rany Hun Sen has initiated a rice donation to Pailin Provincial Administration. A total of 20 tons of rice is provided to the quarantine and treatment centres in the province which will be used to feed the people. The movement was made following the flock of workers returning from Thailand and now undergoing quarantine at the provincial facilities.

Pailin is one of the provinces bordering Thailand. Authorities are strictly monitoring the migrant workers crossing the borders to avoid community outbreak. The Ministry of Health has released that Pailin province recorded 26 Delta cases of Covid-19 as of Friday, 21 August.
