Cambodia to Compete in FIFA International Friendship Series

Phnom Penh: Cambodian national team is set to participate in the upcoming FIFA International Friendship Series. This event, organized by the World Football Federation (FIFA), is scheduled to take place from March 19 to March 26, 2024. It will feature 20 countries in a competition designed to test the capabilities of national teams that typically have fewer opportunities to play internationally. The series aims to foster international matches and contribute to the development of global football.

Cambodia is poised to face off against teams from two continents: Guinea-Equatoria from Africa and Guyana from South America. These matches are set to be held in Saudi Arabia, with the games against Guinea-Equatoria and Guyana scheduled for March 22nd and 26th, respectively.

The participation of the Cambodian national team in the International Friendship FIFA Series is a rallying call for unity and support under the banner "All together for Cambodia." This event not only offers an invaluable opportunity for the team to gain international exposure but also to strengthen ties within the global football community.
