Phnom Penh: At the inauguration of the Chak Angre Krom Prek Pra Bridge, Prime Minister Hun Manet emphasized the pivotal role of road development in Cambodia's ongoing peacebuilding and economic efforts. According to Prime Minister Hun Manet, road infrastructure is now considered a fundamental pillar of national development, ranking just behind the well-being of the Cambodian people in terms of priorities for the country.

During the ceremony, PM Hun Manet articulated that the nation's road networks are the "lifeblood of the economy," underscoring their importance in facilitating economic growth and connectivity. This infrastructure development, he noted, is a testament to the enduring peace and stability that Cambodia enjoys, a legacy of the tireless peacebuilding initiatives led by his predecessor, Hun Sen.

"The advancements we witness today are fruits of the hard-earned peace that our nation has achieved," stated PM Hun Manet. He further highlighted the necessity of collective efforts to safeguard this peace, stating, "No matter what the cost, we must work together to maintain peace now and in the future."
