Prime Minister Highlights Investment Boom Under New Government, Creating Over 190,000 Jobs

Phnom Penh: Cambodia's Prime Minister, His Excellency Hun Manet, highlighted that from August 2023 to January 2024, under his leadership, Cambodia has attracted 172 investors, bringing in a total investment of $3.86 billion.

Hun Manet mentioned that these 172 investment projects, encompassing both domestic and international ventures from about 10 countries, are set to generate employment for more than 190,000 Cambodians.

In January 2024 alone, the country welcomed 32 investment projects, with a combined capital of nearly $200 million.

Prime Minister Hun Manet made these remarks at the closing ceremony of the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training and the "Strategic Plan for the Development of Social Security" held on February 8, 2024.Closing
