PM Pays State Visit to Thailand

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Manet led a Royal Government delegation to pay a state visit to the Kingdom of Thailand on Wednesday morning, February 7, 2024.

Special aircraft of the Royal Government of Cambodia left Phnom Penh International Airport at 8:00 am.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation said that the visit will be accompanied by the First Lady of Cambodia, Dr Pich Chanmony Hun Manet, First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, Mr. Sun Chanthol, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sok Chenda Sophea and some key officials and private sector leaders of the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.

During the visit, the Prime Minister and his wife will pay a visit to King Maha Vajiralongkorn, King of the Kingdom of Thailand, at the Royal Palace. At the same time, the Prime Minister will also make a separate courtesy call on the leaders of the legislature, including the President of the Senate and the President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Thailand.

In addition, Prime Minister Hun Manet will meet with Thailand Prime Minister, Srettha Thavisin to discuss bilateral cooperation and attend the signing ceremony of some documents.

Prime Minister Hun Manet will deliver an opening speech at the Cambodia-Thailand Business Forum, aiming to bolster economic collaboration between the two nations.
