Goldman Sachs Aims to Expand Investment in Cambodia

PHNOM PENH: Prime Minister Hun Manet paid a courtesy call to Head of Global Affairs at Goldman Sachs Jared Cohen while on the sidelines of the 2024 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

During the meeting, Mr. Cohen thanked the PM for allowing him to pay a courtesy call and informed him about the business activities of Goldman Sachs, one of the leading investment companies in the banking, securities and investment management sectors. He said the company was established in 1869 to provide financial services to clients of all walks of life, including corporations, financial institutions, governments and individuals.

He also informed the PM about his company’s intention to expand its investment opportunities to Cambodia and expressed confidence that under the honorable leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet, Cambodia will continue to develop with confidence in full macroeconomic stability and peace.

The PM welcomed the company's intention to invest in Cambodia and encouraged the company to cooperate with all stakeholders in Cambodia to study and understand the potential of investment in Cambodia.
