Cambodia Rice Exports Up 3% in 2023

PHNOM PENH: In 2023, Cambodia exported more than 656 thousand tons of rice to international markets worth $466 million US. According to a report of the Cambodian Rice Federation released on January 5, rice exports for 2023 increased by 3%.

Cambodian rice was exported to 61 destinations, with China importing more than 210,000 tons worth $138 million US dollars.

According to the report, Cambodia's exports of fragrant rice accounted for 82.29%, long grain rice 12.94%, white rice .03%, steamed rice 2.9%, organic rice 1.62% and sticky rice .2%.
