Cambodia's Prime Minister Urges Global Environmental Responsibility

Phnom Penh: Cambodia's Prime Minister, Hun Manet, has called upon all citizens to be mindful of their role in environmental conservation, emphasizing that environmental problems transcend borders and affect the entire world.

Addressing the attendees at the closing ceremony of the Annual Meeting of the Ministry of Environment on the evening of Thursday, December 21, 2023, Prime Minister Manet underscored Cambodia's dedication to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and playing its part in global environmental preservation. He highlighted that while Cambodia may not be a major emitter of toxic gases like some highly industrialized nations, the impact of environmental issues is felt universally.

"Environmental issues don't confine themselves to any single country or region; they have a global impact," noted PM Manet.
