PM Shares Memory of Elephant Ride

Phnom Penh: Prime Minister Hun Sen has shared a photo of himself riding on an elephant which he describes as an unforgettable moment. The post was made a day after “World Elephant Day” celebrated every year on 12 August. In his post, the Prime Minister says, "I have ridden an elephant once in my life even though I am afraid of elephants." The Prime Minister divulged that the picture was taken during the inauguration ceremony of Phnom Tamao Zoo back in 2000.

Prime Minister Hun Sen says that during that time, he still weighed less than 60 kilograms at the age of 48. He added that he hadn’t even learned how to play golf. He only knew basketball and chess. In his recent photos posted on Facebook, Prime Minister Hun Sen can be seen playing golf, especially after his quarantine sessions which he has been forced to do three times in the past 18 months.
