Cambodian Jet Skiers Win Big in US

ARIZONA: Two Cambodian jet ski riders won grabbed two medals at the third round of the Water Jet Ski World Series in the US this week.

A group of nine Cambodian Jet Ski riders led by Saly Ou Moeut departed Cambodia for the US on September 24, which unfortunately coincided with the Asian Games in China, where Ou Moeut won gold for Cambodia in 2018. Within the first day of the third round held in Arizona, Saly Philin won the gold medal in the Amateur Runabout 1100 Limited while Rec Lites took home the silver in the Runabout category.

The first round of the series took place in Poland in May, while round two was held in France in July, during which Cambodian Jet Ski riders won two gold, one silver, and one bronze medal. The final round of the series will be in Thailand from December 13-17.
