New Thai PM to Visit Cambodia in Late September

PHNOM PENH: Secretary of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Soeung Rathavi, led a delegation to pay an official visit to Bangkok from September 14-15.

During the state visit, Soeung Rathchavy and met with Thailand’s Secretary for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saran Jarorn Sovann to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Thailand in all areas including politics, security, economy, trade, investment, education, tourism, employment and border demarcation.

The two sides also focused on preparations for the official visit of Thailand’s new Prime Minister Setha Thavisin to Cambodia later this month. The two delegates expressed faith that their countries will maintain excellent relations, friendship and bilateral cooperation under the leadership of their new prime ministers to the benefit of both peoples.
